Reem

Reem

“God put me on a path.”

Reem was born into an environment where right felt wrong and wrong felt right. But even then, he had something you can’t teach—drive. A quiet fire to rise above it all, even when it didn’t make sense.

Reem says God put the right people in his life at the right time. People who reminded him that it’s okay to feel like the world is upside down. People who helped him flip the script—who taught him that the same fire he had growing up could be used to light a path for others. One of those people was Mike.

Reem met Mike during team workouts at the gym, and that’s how he discovered True Victory. It wasn’t just the gym. It was the energy. The encouragement. The truth. Mike’s genuine love for people pulled Reem in. He started coming to the gym outside of team workouts… first once or twice… then five or six times a week. Something clicked.

Mike saw what we see: a young man full of potential, with a heart for growth and a purpose bigger than himself. Through that connection, Reem says Mike helped shape him as a man—teaching him not just reps and drills, but life cues that mattered.

“God will put people in your life and thoughts in your mind for a reason,” Reem says.
“You’ve just got to keep pushing.”

Reem is a graduating senior at Trinity College of Florida—earning not one, but two degrees in Sports Leadership and Bible Theology. After he graduates, Reem is headed overseas to play basketball. His dream is to invest in kids who are growing up in the same kind of tough spaces he came from. To show them what’s possible when you trust God, stay true, and never give up.

Reem embodies what it means to be #ALWAYSTRUE.

God will put people in your life… and thoughts in your mind… for a reason.
You’ve just got to keep pushing. Never give up.
