At just six years old, Joey’s grandfather introduced him to boxing, hoping to channel his schoolyard scraps into something greater. 

From his very first sparring match, it was clear that Joey had a natural gift. 

At 15, he moved to the United States to pursue an amateur career, eventually earning an invitation to the Olympic trials. Instead, Joey chose to go pro so he could focus on his growing family and a future built on a higher purpose.

Every time he steps into the ring, he carries a deep commitment to glorifying God. 

His life and career are anchored in the truth of Joshua 1:9: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Today, Joey holds a professional record of 13 wins (10 by knockout) and only 3 losses. But his true victory isn’t just found in the ring, it’s found in the way he lives. Joey represents our mission not only through what he wears but through the unwavering way he pursues his calling.
